Can you tell I love music?

Ever since I was a little girl I adored writing and creating my own “books”. This was one of my first hobbies along with wanting to be like my big brother and play the violin. I developed a passion for how important music can be and I was drawn to anyone that had a similar view.

I was proud that I stuck to playing the violin for over nine years. My “book” writing had slowed down but I continued to do some creative writing on my own time (when I wasn’t forced to in school). I was scared that I would end up losing interest in music the same way I lost interest in possibly being an author. However, getting emotional while playing with orchestra at my high school graduation solidified the fact that my passion for music will always an important part of my life.

This encouraged me to find an internship in the music industry as a college student. I put my two hobbies together: music and writing. This pushed me to continue working on my writing skills by writing about something I love. I also got a sneak peek into the music industry and I loved everything about it.
